Our Medicinal Chemistry track provides extensive resources to support your success. You can choose your mentor, and our community will be here to provide guidance throughout your training. You can also work with multiple mentors, giving you the flexibility to build a truly personalized and collaborative research experience.

Our lab is currently recruiting graduate students and have a couple of open positions. If you are interested in working with small molecules and exciting microbes from the human gut or marine sponges, please reach out. We would be delighted to connect, and our lab could be a great fit for you.

2026

January 1, 2026. Our lab just started a new tradition: having the lead authors post their own papers to recognize their contributions. Kudos to Yansong on the new mSystems paper, well deserved.

December 17, 2025. Qihao would like to share his appreciation to the Wu Lab members and everyone in Pitt Pharmacy. As we approach our first anniversary, it is truly impressive how smoothly everything has come together, and that is because of your hard work, support, and teamwork. December 17, 2025. A big win for the Pitt men’s basketball team today, and our lab really enjoyed the game. Many thanks to Dr. Shekhar, who offered our school the use of his suite!
